Finance Director - Up to £130k + Benefits

Are you an experienced finance leader ready to make an impact? FlowFolk is seeking a Finance Director for a dynamic digital banking solution provider in the heart of London. About the Role:

  • Location: London, Mayfair
  • Salary: Up to £130,000 per annum + benefits
  • Reports To: CEO
  • Team: 2 direct reports

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee robust financial controls and ensure client funds' protection.
  • Monitor and report on daily capital requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting, reporting, and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver accurate financial reports, including FCA and HMRC returns.
  • Develop financial models for strategic planning and forecasting.
  • Provide expert advice on financial performance and profitability.
  • Stay updated on relevant financial legislation and policies.
  • Lead and develop your team, fostering a collaborative environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10-15 years of relevant experience with ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification.
  • Expertise in VAT methodology and complex VAT issues.
  • Experience in establishing international subsidiaries and UK consolidated group structures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Electronic Money Institute or CASS regulated business.
  • Background in financial services start-ups.
  • Familiarity with Mastercard/VISA issuing or acquiring.
  • A clear set of personal values and principles.
