FlowFolk & Charity Talent combine to connect furloughed talent with charities!

  • April 09, 2020

Hello everyone!

We wanted to talk about what we’re doing to introduce furloughed talent to the Charity sector.

Welcoming the £750million injection announced by the government yesterday, Charities are still facing a massive donation crisis.

With the London Marathon 2020 postponed, delaying £66million in funds, and cancellations of direct debit donations up 41% on March2019, it means many (especially smaller charities) are having to furlough their staff, and can’t run their outreach campaigns targeting the donors which keep them in operation.

At FlowFolk we urgently want to help, so we’re connecting furloughed marketing, digital and data talent to charities, who can volunteer to use their skills to help charities’ campaigns going and their operations sustained.

We’re working with our friends Dominic Evans and Natashja van der Westhuizen at Charity Talent to steer furloughed volunteers to those charities in most need of resource. Charities will get the digital, marketing and data support they need, and talented furloughed volunteers continue to use their invaluable skills for an awesome purpose!

So, please do get involved in this volunteer force!
